Exciting Changes for 2026

Hi!
I know it’s been a while since I posted an update.
Life is crazy!
But also, just know that I’m still here and planning a few things.
In the coming weeks, I will be moving web hosts. While I enjoyed my time with Host Armada, there were a lot of things that happened off the web that made posting regularly (like I had with other hosts) a little harder.

For example, when I signed my HostArmada contract, I was displaced in a hotel because my childhood home flooded. I had no idea where my next move would be, or when that would be. So many times insurance would call me at weird hours telling me they were giving me another week at a hotel.

Not a month at a time, a week at a time.

I was in that hotel for over 7 months. That’s a lot of insurance calls.

Once a lot of work was done, my belongings were boxed up and put somewhere. And then we made the decision to sell the place (I could NOT afford the property tax). So I started looking for a place outside of Orange County. And landed in Los Angeles.

My stuff showed up eventually and most of the boxes are unpacked as I’ve decorated and figured out what the rooms are like. It’s been bittersweet because about 2/3 of the boxes have been things that were in the old house that did not belong to me. BUT, I’ve been able to get rid of things that were destroyed, figure out what I want and what I don’t want (thank goodness for donation bins).

So 2026 will be moving to a new host, with not as much downtime or site errors. So if you don’t see something, please reach out to me.
